Hey all. Andii, I've changed the password to that email but then I emailed yahoo to let them know to delete that account due to it being hacked, so hopefully that'll solve the spam.

'Deviant D'. Ahh. It's good to be remembered. Other former contributors, of course, were Jenn and her 'purple' partner, Jonni Jade. Both of them up my neck of the north of England woods soon, so will be catching up for a drink. I recently used Jenn's photos for a new rock CD, No Connection's 'Tal es la Vida':- www.cdbaby.com/cd/noconnection5/from/viglinkBoth also very prolific on Facebook. I don't blame Facebook any more, though. I guess if super-speedy Twitter did forums then we'd all be there updating posts/convos on our CrapBerries and iGroans whilst catching the train to the supermarket, or whatever. What we haven't done yet is ask each other how we can improve things. How we inject a bit of PR and va-va-voom into things. Personally I've never liked this message board's design/ layout/structure. So that would be the first to go. It's a bit Web 1.0, don't you think? D.

Part of the problem is that all of the good discussion for this stuff is dead, it would seem. We could try talking about the new albums coming out, but fuck if I have any idea what is new. Plus, how many times can somebody post a link to a video or band, and nobody checks it out? I just don't think anybody really has the passion for this stuff like they did 10 years ago, when we were all younger and we could all give it our all.

I pop in occasionally still, but not so often anymore. The board had a bit more magic to it when you met people from the underground bands you were listening to at the time here and could read interviews with them on the main site. Glam was dead then and it was a real us vs. them feeling that I liked. Also everyone seemed to be very much into the bubblegum glam thing.
I'm still as glam as I've always been and still playing. Don't have any kids or anything to slow me down, but it takes a bit longer than expected to get my new band going. Hopefully we'll have an album out next year though.
I go to a Norwegian speaking music forum most of the time now as it has a lot of activity. I sometimes go to the metal sludge forum as well, but even that seems to have slowed down a bit. There is a limit to how many "what if Use Your Illusion was a single album" threads you can get excited about.
Apperantly there is a good glam forum on sleazeroxx. I checked it out a few years ago, but seemed like most of the posters were way younger than me and it wasn't really the type of discussions I felt I got anything from. It might be better now though.
I have tried to save several dying traders forums in the past without succeeding at it, so I'm a bit burnt out on saving anything. But if anyone has ideas on how to bring this one back to life I at least have the time and interest to pop in and post every now and then.

I've always thought the reason(s) for this place's continued existence was friendship/networking first, and the shared taste in music the glue binding it together. Or the way around?
Tell you what I'll do over the weekend -- I'll post up that old Glitzinet Gallery thing I designed a couple of years ago and we'll all have a giggle trying to fill in the 'where are they now?' box.
D.

Haha! Some of them are on other places around the net. Alalvin is actually one of my best friends from high school, so I stay in touch with him, and he recently posted on here. Glamfly got busy with life, and can be found on Facebook, but even there his posts are rare. Many of the "band" folk, such as Jonnie Jade, Billy Carri, etc. are on Facebook. Ashliegh (absolutdrag) is on Facebook. Lycan (Cottoncandylover) is married now, and is on Facebook. I think Jerry Vayne is on Facebook. Last I spoke to him, which was 3 years ago or so, he was in Vegas and working almost 24 hours a day. Glam Drummer, who knows. Even then, he would show up for about a week or so with news about a new thing he was trying, then disappear. Last time he showed up, he looked nothing like that picture. If memory serves, he looked more like a biker. I do wonder where Drew Blood is. Great guy. Jami Ashton. Remember the drama that was all around that one? Crazy stuff. Didn't Styxxx move to the UK for Glitterstar? Raggz, was that the case? Laurent is still doing Veglam, and being a Glam God in general. I see Creeper around places now and then. I think Twitter was the last I saw him. He got busy with life, with one of the cutest babies I have ever seen! Markii is a Facebook whore. That guy is hooked on all of the games! LOL!!! For a while there, all of the updates I got were his damn totals. And, can I pause for just a second...Vinyl Vixen...humina, humina...that picture was always mesmerizing for some reason.

Wow great to see some talk about the old days - what a crowd we had. Try to check in on the place when I can. Like many others real life has hit me - used to have a job where I could be on the board alot more than I am these days. I have a fair few of the old crew as friends on facebook. (I have MarkyG, Jonni Jade, Dezi, Punky, Jerry V, Raggz & Annette, Carl, Lycan, Magenta, Stace as friends). As posted in the where are they now thread I met up with Stace & Magenta @ Firefest in October - was great to put faces to names & share a beer. If I remember we even discussed the board & how its changed

Had some time to read through the posts, the old times can never be repeated, we were younger, our scene was underground and we needed each other so much more. We traded music and reviews, we promoted by word of mouth because there was no myspace or facebook. Wow, what I could do now vs what we could do then! The internet was still dial up and our cells had no internet, we all relied on each other, met some amazing people and had great times. I remember the hours I passed having serious conversations, making stories one line at a time for days on end, slamming anyone who invaded our space, they were the days. My email is still the same, procks@aol.com, my studio changed names a few years back to Anarchy Digital anarchydigital.com As for my Vamp collegues, we are still around, Diggy is a Police Officer, Conway owns a music Store, Donny is a psychologist. We talk from time to time. I keep myself busy with studio work and producing, the last few years I have been mainly doing Classical and Jazz recordings, some great rock on occasion however with budgets being non existent these days, need to pay the bills! Anarchy Digital is on Facebook and Twitter and all that goes with it. For my friends in the U.K. I did your 8 year old singing sensation Connie Talbots Christmas DVD and just finished a live CD for TyLean.
Eternally, Drew
