Does anyone have this? If so, what's it like? The samples at official site don't work anymore.

Thanks for the 'mega' help me ol mucker.
All is good here. Hope you and the family are well, too.
Bought a GameCube the other day for a few quid. Monkey Balls brings back some bonkers boozy memories. Grabbed Mario Sunshine this arvo, just for the craic. Everything on GC looks pants, though, after playing *anything* on the PS3 in glorious 1080p.
Get yourself on Facebook -- most of the GNet ppl are there. Be good to catch up.
Cheers, D.

Do you kids mind if I just sit back and read this thread while you two talk? It's just kind of nice seeing a conversation going on around these parts. So...just go ahead, carry on.

Hi Carl. Hope all is well with you mate.
Darren, nothing musically going on here. Just enjoying life and working at the moment whilst trying to sort out a move from this shithole they call Pant. I really do hate it up here. Chav infested.
Skylar has been learning guitar also and is doing really well. We're buying her an Ibanez this year (This is what she wants because her favourite guitar player uses them... Paul Gilbert lol). She's a big rock fan.

No need for risks at the moment Darren. Life is good. It was my choice to quit the music for now, to concentrate on work, family etc, and everything is great. No regrets in that department. We just want a move now from Pant.
What is Dean's new band? I think I found them on myspace once, but can't remember.

Did you get the Sputnik CD or are you still curious? If so, I guess I'm the one to ask on Sputnik related matters here:-) The CD is great! With Ultra Real SSS finally understood that we didn't want them to progress, we wanted another album like Flaunt It and Ultra Real is the closest they have gotten to that in their recording history. The 2-3 note spacebass lines are back and the drum machine is programmed a little simpler than the more disco, dance and boarderline techno stuff they mixed in to their music on albums like Pirate Space.
You will find some different stuff on Ultra Real too and some of the choruses are certainly more reminiccent of Dress For Excess aera than they are of Flaunt It, but all in all I guess Ultra Real is my second favorite SSS CD.
Mickey Mouse Is Going To Hell, Family X and especially Suicide SSShow are all repeat tracks on my iPod, but there are several other good ones there as well.
Too bad they broke up again after an album like that.

@chris -- wasn't that blown away with UR to be honest. Maybe I need to play it more. @andy -- Dean's band is Knockout Kaine (KO Kaine .. cocaine, blabla). They're not bad, but need to record some pro material -- which they have, apparently, and now need a video. www.myspace.com/knockoutkaineD.

They only have 1 album like that, but if you like the first album and give the 3 songs I mentioned above an extra spin I'd be very surprised if you don't like them.

Cheers for the link Darren. I agree with Chris. The album has a couple of fillers, but on the whole, I was quite surprised with the album. Gets a regular spin here

@andy -- this will interest you: after uploading my original short doc about Vain to Facebook, Davy got in touch, thought it was great, and wants to talk about something new. Don't know the details yet.
