So, how many of the Glitziners have got the new Mcrackins CD?
I got mine last week and love it. This is definitely the best one since Bat Out Of Shell, which is my all time fave Mcrackins album.
I would probably rate this one my second favorite in their entire back cat.
So, what makes this one different?
Heeeeyyyyy.... of course it's not different. It's the Macrackins we wanted and it's the Mcrackins we get.
Like BOOS It Ain't Over Easy just seems to have a little more to it. That little extra, that pushes it a little further.
There are good variations in tempo, It's packed with riffs, backing vocals and small details here and there that makes you discover new stuff once you have gotten past the initial excitement of the cool vocal melodies.
The whole album is cool and there is not a song I don't like on there, but I need a few more listens before all the songs stick out and can be commented properly on. One that kicked me in the knee immediately was Nerdcore Rising. A very fast punk song with a great melody. The titletrack is another fantastic tune.
