www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmUXjHY1cjU&feature=PlayList&p=7FD049B819448587&playnext_from=PL&playnext=1&index=71Anybody see or hear about this? Rikki had been bad mouthing these guys for a while and it was inevitable some kind of fight would be set up for it. Seeing as the last time I saw a Good Charlotte video, Benji was quite a skinny little fella, I instantly thought... "I think Rikki has this one in the bag" I was VERY wrong!! hahaha Turns out Benji has bulked out some!! Rikki then proceeds to get his ass handed to him... TKO Round 1... What follows is not really good boxing nor is it MMA standard. More a case of "two drunk looking guys outside a burger van" style brawl. But an ass-whipping is an ass-whipping none the less. I think Rikki may be more careful before opening his mouth in future haha

I can't really blame anyone for badmouthing Good Charlotte. That band is as punk and rock'n'roll as the Spice Girls. They have some nice melodies though, but all in all they're a pop band with a punk image and it all comes across as calculated and fake.
Still, always fun to watch a fight.
And I'm with Carl. What does Rikki do nowadays?

I looked into it, he still seems to own the Cathouse. So he's a club owner who still thinks he is a celebrity. Rikki was a bit of a joke back when hosting the Ball himself. He himself was more or less "calculated and fake". So really, this is a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Rikki has said in post-Ball interviews that he was never really allowed to play the videos and bands he actually loved. According to Rikki, he always actually hated the Hair band thing. But there he was, on MTV, peddling the hairbainds he supposedly disliked.
Please don't take any of this as a pro-Good Charlotte post. I've never been a fan at all. Though I agree with you Chris, they do have some nice melodies at times. But yeah...blah for the most part.

Seems like everyone from the 80's spent the 90's denying what they had done and how they felt about it. If those people would have had a spine and stood up for what they did, my youth would have been a whole lot better.
This is not just Rikki. This is Sixx and several of the others too.
In any case. I'm not defending Rikki in this matter. I'm just pointing out that I don't like Good Charlotte either.
