As with all new beginnings, we may lose a few old members and hopefully pick up some new members via the bulletins posted on other sites.
I'm starting to spot names that are new to me, so why don't we have a little introduction thread, so the newbies and oldies can get to know a bit about each other?
Okidoki, I'll start the ball rolling...
My name is Stacey, or Stace, whatever, and I'm 38, living down in Kent, about 40 miles outside of London. I've been a regular on the Glitzinet board since late 2002, which is probably somewhere in the middle as far as veterans go! I've done a few reviews for Glitzine over the years, but don't have a lot of spare time lately! I used to work in pubs and clubs behind the bar, but now I'm a Beers, Wines & Spirits supervisor for one of the big supermarket chains.
My tastes in music haven't really varied too much over the years. Started going to pubs and gigs around 1988, when big hair, cowboy boots and tassled jackets were the order of the day. My first gig was Bon Jovi with Lita Ford supporting, at Wembley Arena Dec '88...The New Jersey tour! Enjoyed a lot of the hair bands/AOR that was around in the 90s, before moving on the sleazier stuff thats been around lately. I like the more recent Scandinavian glam scene, bands like Danger, Crazy Lixx, Hardcore Superstar, and have a soft spot for Finnish bands Negative, Lovex and Private Line among others.
Away from the glam scene, my favourite sounds come from bands such as Hinder, Butch Walker, Nickleback, Daughtry, and Shinedown to name a few. Don't mind a bit of poppy-punk stuff either, All-American Rejects get a few spins lately. Anything that's catchy and rockin' is fine by me.
Never been a musician, always been a fan.
Now it's your turn... ;D

I'm Lee, also known as Ratbag or Oi, Shortarse. Quite elderly and have been drumming in pissant punk bands nobody gives a shit about since 1991 (currently The Kingcrows). I look a tit in eyeliner these days, but I still wear daft hats without due care and attention.

I'm Sandy aka Spot, I played in the Canuck PBF, Grandma Moses back in glam days and currently bashin' skins for pop punkers MCRACKINS for what seems like an eternity. I think this is the 3rd incarnation of the board I've been on dating back to 2004. I've met Spice, Stace, Magenta and Chris Damien Doll from the board the last time I toured Europe. All top notch people.

I used to be ChrisDamien, or that is... I still am, but for some reason the board fucked up my first new registration and I had to come up with a new name....... lil hungover and not enough sleep and all I could come up with was CDD. So I will be logged in on the days I can remember that I changed my name.
Don't know how long I've been a member here.
I used to be in glamour punk band Trashcan Darlings and am currently in punk band Ronny Pøbel and starting up a Post Apocalyptic Murder Rock (sleaze) band called Suicide Bombers.

I'm Ian. Been about the boards since 90 something. I'm 41 from the Midlands. Like too many bands to mention here but if you've been around the boards for a while you'll know my taste in music. As for Marky -- don't trust him he scams Russian Princesses (lol - only joking bro).

I like to be the devils advocate(read; just likes causing trouble or is that D, harhar). When can we start slagging Motley Crue? P.S. if its not Johnny Thunders i won't like it H or for for the uninitiated Hud. Formerly of Sweet Pain, Kiss the Bride, Smiler and now pretending to be Joe Strummer in Combat Rock The Ultimate Clash Tribute Band. Check out our site.

Well, I'm Jen, aka Hawkie...been around since the days of the Andreas Glitzine forum and I'm sure a lot of the old-timers remember me (and are glad I'm not as annoying as I used to be..TCHT!)
I'm 27...been shredding guitars since I was 13 and collecting any and every wild and flashy-painted guitar I can get my hands on for almost as long (current count is around 3 dozen, many vintage BC Rich)! No band at the moment...
On the music front...I love oldschool metal...Priest, Maiden, Saxon, old Metallica...pretty much anything British. Oldschool thrash...MOST '80's hair bands (Note: Not ALL)...neoclassical/technical metal (think "Yngwie Malmsteen")....
As far as glam goes, I'm into everything from David Bowie, New York Dolls and Hanoi Rocks to Poison and Warrant, to the '90's "Strip Glam" like Guttersluts and Heart Throb Mob. As far as newer bands...I'm really digging Sweden lately. Stuff like Snake of Eden...
Also into underground punk, folk music, baroque, blues and surf...some goth/industrial...lots of stuff.
Also an aspiring writer and proud owner of a Camaro. *fluffs mullet*

Am a drunken idiot, female, unemployed, love animals, love 80's rock, love travelling, and hoping to get a market stall going in the near future (No more office politics, perlease) Some of my fave bands are, for example, 80's Hanoi Rocks, Guns'n'roses, LA Guns, PBF, you got it. Am based in the UK. Cheers!

Hiya,
I'm Carl. Been around these boards since around '97. I've dabbled in all aspects of this crap such as having bands (none of which you have heard of, none of which you care to hear), written for a few websites (Horror films and music and had my own site for the author Joseph A. Citro), did a little writing for Glitz for a short spell, and started my own fanzine (Sonic Ruin, http://www.sonicruin.com). Now days I still have Sonic Ruin going, though it is struggling due to the summer hitting and my not getting the most recent issue handled. The future of it all is way up in the air. Other than our music here my interests include Horror fiction, Horror films (though it has been eons since I have watched a movie) and comic books (HUGE Marvel fan). Musically for me I am a guitar freak. 1st rule about the tunes I listen to is that it must have guitars. 2nd rule is it must be full of energy. The louder, the better. Though I do hate Nu Metal.

Alright! I'm Gav Ruadh, frontman of Hallion.
First joined waaaay back in 2000. Was known as Billion Dollar Baby back then. My band (always a totally DIY project) keeps me more than busy. When that gets too much I have my pride and joy to work on. My old Ford Capri. A total rock n roll machine. Also known as "The Gavmobile".
Still the same approachable cheerful fella I always was. Still have the long mop of red hair and look much younger than I should do.
Be cool to catch up with ya's all!
