Three cracking gigs at the O2 Academy Islington this week!
Danny Vaughn brings Tyketto back through town on Monday night. Would love to see them again but it's shaping up to be a busy one, this week.
Wednesday night Hinder are here, in support of their latest album 'Take It To The Limit'. Can't miss this one as they were great the last time they played, a couple of years back.
Then for anyone not going to the Download Festival next weekend, Buckcherry grace the stage on Saturday night for a warm-up gig before their Sunday slot at Donington.
I'll be at Hinder and Buckcherry shows, with maybe a spot of Decadence afterwards if anyone's about.

So, what's a Hinder live show like? I'm not too familiar with them, but they'll be coming through LaCrosse, WI in a few months and well, we rarely get rock shows over this way...Not sure if I want to plop down $39.95 general admission, though...I forget who's opening.

They get an amazing response here, Jen. Fantastic night at a rammed Islington Academy. Vocalist Austin is such a likeable, charismatic chap, he has the whole crowd (not just the girls!) eating out the palm of his hand. A Hinder crowd is mainly 20-somethings, with a few exceptions (moi!) Not just your usual 'rock/metal' crowd, Hinder appeals to a wide variety of people. With a setlist taken entirely from the last 2 albums (Extreme Behavior and Take It To The Limit), a Hinder show here becomes something special with the crowd participation. When Austin says sing...EVERYBODY sings! His beaming smile of approval says it all. Great value for money at only £13 a ticket here.

Sounds good...I may just have to check them out...as long as I can stand the opening act LOL There's seldom anything remotely "fun" rock in my area...it's mostly country and those stupid emo/hardcore bands.
