Sounds good that you got out of there, Carl! Money is cool, but damn, doing something you hate to get it really isn't worth it in the long run.
Good on you for getting an education too! How long will you be in school for? So that means both you and Spot have gotten yourself educations "later in life." You know what, I should probably do that too, but we'll see... Very cool that everything is cool with the wife too and that you get by financially.
Doing SR as a free PDF might be the solution and a lot cheaper. I'm glad we managed to get the Trashcan Darlings issue while it was still in print though. Fuck, I have to go back and re-read that epic interview one of these days:-)
Yeah, I'm probably the most busy I have ever been with music at the moment and I'm loving it. I have a feeling most of the people who liked Trashcan Darlings will like Suicide Bombers too. It's slower and a little different, but it's still much in the same vein. Also it's still me writing the songs and I like to think that I am bringing some much needed personality to the sleaze stuff that's going on at the moment. I'll be sure to post here when there is anything to listen too, but don't hold your breath for it just yet.
I'm sure we'll film the festival if we do it. Dave has his own videocamera that he usually brings. We did film last years gig, but Dave didn't want me to share it with anyone, so I'm sitting on that.
Maybe I'll be allowed to share it this year, if we play.
In any case it's a cool festival, Sweden's biggest at the moment, and hooking up with Dave is always nice.
