I've just bought this (something about sucking off donkeys) but I wait in dread for what its going to sound like. Don't know if I want to hear all them tracks I love butchered by some nazi patent leather wearing guy who's lost his way
But maybe it'll be great and it'll be 1988 again. I can live in hope...

Hahaha.... It will probably be like you expect, but please do listen to it and get back here with a review. I'm contemplating getting this too.

I thought it was cool that Taime was taking a chance with new music in a different direction. As opposed to the pure nostalgia trip that their peers were doing. It's just when they were doing the older songs in the new style that I wasn't into. All the humour was lost with it. Only gothic themed band with any humour that springs to mind is Type O Negative. That's very black humour though. Still, credit to him for keeping it going.

It's actually pretty good. They've not butchered the classics and the stuff off 'Gloryhole' sounds better on this recording than it did on the album. Worth having and from what I've heard here, probably worth seeing

So, what's the story on FP, anyway? I'd heard there were two versions of the band around now...one Taime's, and the other Brent Muscat's...or something like that. It's been awhile since I last followed the band, so I have no clue what they're up to these days.
I don't mind bands branching out and trying new looks/sounds (as long as it's good or at least decent), but the whole Nazi thing wasn't too cool, IMO

I saw them live and they were a very good band, but I think the whole thing was just to celebrate the anniversary of something. In any case I think Taime won the battle over the band name and his is the only FP now.
