I'm in town on Thursday night for this. Hope to see some of the usual suspects around.

Thankfully I stayed on the edge of the melee for the majority. Didn't wanna spill too much beer at £3.60 a go! Overall, it was a pretty good night. Enjoyed The 69 Eyes (the drummer stole the show!) and at least they played the songs I knew. To be honest, I think I preferred Buckcherry at Islington Academy in June, when all the Kerrang readers were at Download I'd forgotten how big and echo-y The Forum is. Last time I was there must've been 1993-ish for Ugly Kid Joe! The sound on the floor for both bands wasn't great, seeing as the PA was miles away on the far edges. I found the best sound right at the back, by the exits! Although the floor was full, I think the venue was too big for both bands. Islington Academy with its lower ceiling has much better sound quality.
